DRINKING THE NECTAR
Concieved by Artist Jennifer Lewandowska and co-curated by Danielle Mezh, Drinking the Nectar is an exploration of the power of wild fennel as a symbol of vitality and strength.
Following the heightened outward focus of summer, the ending of the season allows for a softer kind of gaze. As the days begin to fade into a blissed-out giddiness, we find time to slow down and reconnect to oneself – a homecoming of sorts.
 Approaching the harvest full moon, promises of bright sunlight fade into a marigold haze. 
A ploughed field, a cooler evening and the sleepy tiredness of a long drive home. A sense of coming back to self, creating space within and invoking a sense of renewal.
Through an interplay of installation, film, painting, sound, and fennel-infused elixir and a new floral collaboration with Ferdia Goet and ceramics by Simao Romuald, Lewandowska invites you to experience how this vibrant and untamed plant can awaken the sacred and the sensual, conjuring the creative spirit through our senses.
